I was recently involved in a car accident and I’m trying to decide if it’s actually worth hiring an attorney or if I should just deal with the insurance company myself. It wasn’t a huge wreck, but there’s some vehicle damage and minor injuries involved.
I keep seeing mixed advice online. Some say attorneys help you get a fair settlement, while others claim they just take a percentage of the payout that you could’ve handled on your own. For those who’ve been through this before, is it worth getting an attorney for a car accident, even if it’s not a major case?
